Big Freedia (pronounced "Free-da") is the undisputed "Queen Diva" of New Orleans Bounce Music. Bounce Music is an original urban music rising up from the intimate and fun-loving nature of the New Orleans housing projects which dominate the city's street culture, and Freedia performs a derivative of Bounce reserved for self-proclaimed "Sissies" (a locally used name for biological men with varied and ambiguous sexual identities) that has risen to prominence in recent years and features explicitly gay and cross-dressing musicians and themes. Big Freedia, like other "Sissy" artists, has achieved mainstream success with several New Orleans hit singles such as "Gin in My System" and "Azz Everywhere!". Since 2009 Freedia has begun traveling outside the city regularly with her dancers and live DJ, Rusty Lazer, playing to audiences on the East and West Coast alongside (or onstage with) artists such as Spank Rock, Ninjasonik, Japanther, Monique and many more. 9pm show / 18+ / Tickets are $10adv/$12dos

ZOE BOEKBINDER / THE MAGIC MATH
Zoe Boekbinder is "geek-glam", music for people who wear sequins to the library. In 2005, Zoe formed a band called Vermillion Lies with her sister,Kim Boekbinder. This twisted folk cabaret duo traveled the world charming audiences with their comedic songs. Being fiercely dedicated to music, Zoe began releasing her more personal material under her own name. In 2007, she released a seven song EP and toured the nation. Since then Zoe has been molding her style and is now ready to take over the world, with guitar and loop pedal in hand, one geek at a time. Show starts at 9pm 18 and up Tickets are $6
